Warehouses & Logistics
Fire protection for warehouses and logistics facilities, including storage arrangement, sprinkler demand, water supply, detection and operational changes.

The growth rate of a warehouse fire is directly influenced by the combustibility of the stored commodity, packaging, rack arrangement, ceiling height and storage height. Sprinkler design cannot be based on building area alone.
Critical Design Inputs
- Commodity classification
- Plastic content and packaging
- Rack storage or solid-pile/block storage
- Storage and ceiling height
- Need for in-rack sprinklers
- Sprinkler type and K-factor
- Water-storage and fire-pump capacity
- Smoke and fire detection approach
DEMOFIRE Services
- Sprinkler application design and hydraulic coordination
- ESFR, CMSA or standard sprinkler applications according to project criteria
- In-rack sprinkler installation
- Fire pumps and water storage
- Valve zoning and monitoring
- Commissioning and flow testing
- Modification of existing warehouse systems
- Maintenance and service
Service Area
From Yalova, DEMOFIRE provides warehouse and logistics fire protection design support, installation, commissioning, maintenance and technical service primarily in Istanbul, Kocaeli and Bursa and, depending on project scope, in Izmir and throughout Türkiye. Field service is provided to warehouse and logistics facilities around Bursa, Kocaeli and Istanbul according to project requirements.
If rack height increases, does the sprinkler system change?
Yes. Storage height can significantly change the required sprinkler design criteria.
Can ESFR be used in every warehouse?
No. Commodity, rack arrangement, building height, sprinkler listing scope and water demand must be evaluated together.
Can in-rack sprinklers be added later?
Yes, but the complete hydraulic system—including the existing pump and water supply—must be reassessed.
