Fire hoses are available with different diameters, lengths, materials, couplings and pressure ratings according to their intended use. Requirements for fixed hose-cabinet applications are not the same as those for fire-service or emergency-response use.

• Hose type and intended use
• Diameter, length and coupling standard
• Working and test pressure
• Reel/cabinet compatibility
• Branch/nozzle and connection equipment
• Product documentation and project specification

Where required, hose, couplings and discharge equipment are evaluated as one compatible operating system.
