Fire Pump Room Commissioning Checklist
Key commissioning checks for fire pumps, controllers, suction and discharge arrangements, alarms, power supply and test facilities.
1. Mechanical Inspection
The pump, suction and discharge piping, valves, check valves, pressure gauges, test line and required auxiliary equipment are compared with the project documents and manufacturer requirements.
2. Electrical and Controls
The controller, power supply, automatic-start logic, alarm contacts and driver functions are tested.
3. Performance Test
Flow-pressure performance, water-supply behaviour, leakage, vibration and abnormal-noise observations are recorded.
4. Handover Records
Test results, settings, punch-list items and as-built documents are handed over to the operating team.
